Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 pkg. yeast
    10 c. plain flour
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix milk, shortening and sugar; bring to a boil.
    Cool until lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in a little warm water and stir into first mixture.
    Mix in 6 cups flour.
    Let rise for 2 hours, then add remaining flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
    Knead well. Keep dough in refrigerator and form into rolls 2 hours before baking.
    Cover and let rise in warm place.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
