Adelaide'S Marmalade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large grapefruit
    2 large oranges
    2 lemons
    4 1/2 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Put fruit through grinder.
    In large pan add 12 cups water to fruit and soak overnight.
    Save grapefruit seeds and soak separately.
    Drain seeds and tie in cloth.
    Add to fruit.
    Boil all down to 1/2 volume (about 1 hour).
    Add sugar.
    Boil down to 1/2 volume.
    Put small amount in saucer in refrigerator to check stiffness.
    Put in jars and seal.
