Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
3 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1/2 c. Crisco
6 large eggs
1/4 c. self-rising flour (sift 3 times)
Preparation

Have all ingredients at room temperature.
Whip butter and Crisco until well blended.
Add sugar.
Beat until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Add small amount of flour and a small amount of cream (4 parts flour and 3 parts cream).
Preheat oven at 325\u00b0 and bake 1 hour.
