Pennsylvania Dutch Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fresh corn, grated
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
Preparation

Add corn to well beaten egg yolks.
Stir in flour and seasoning.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Heat shortening until very hot in a large skillet and drop corn mixture by spoonfuls.
Turn to brown both sides.
Serve hot.
