Canned Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 gal. Peeled, cored, and quartered apples
10 c sugar
1 c vinegar
Preparation

Cover with 10 cup sugar and 1 cup vinegar.
Let stand over night.
Cook down like preserves, and seal in sterilized jars. Can be used as preserves or for fried pies.
