Florida Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    2 large oranges
    1 lemon
Preparation
    Cook milk and sugar to just under the boiling point.
    Cool and place in ice cube tray; freeze to mushy stage.
    Remove; add juice of oranges and lemon.
    Beat with beater and return to tray to freeze, stirring occasionally during freezing.
    (I sometimes substitute a small can of crushed pineapple for oranges and lemon.)
