Mock Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 rib celery, chopped fine
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Pat into 8 x 8-inch cake pan.
    Chill overnight.
    Cut in six pieces.
    Dredge in flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown in small amount of oil.
    Put in roaster.
    Add 1 cup water.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
