Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. Cool Whip
    2 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 c. nuts
    1 pkg. pineapple cake mix
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on package.
    Let cool.
    Crumble 1/2 cake in bottom of punch bowl.
    Prepare vanilla pudding as directed and pour 1/2 over cake.
    Then pour 1/2 crushed pineapple and 1/2 cherry pie filling over vanilla pudding.
    Spread 1/2 Cool Whip over this mixture.
    Repeat with all ingredients.
    Sprinkle nuts over top.
    Better if it sets overnight.
