Potato-Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. raw, sliced potatoes
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Mix soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper.
    In 9 x 13-inch casserole, layer potatoes, soup mixture, sausage and cheese.
    Repeat layers again.
    Dot with butter if desired.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
