Angel Bavarian Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla flavoring
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    1/4 c. water
    1 pt. cream, whipped and sweetened
    4 egg whites, beaten stiff and sweetened
    1 large angel food cake
    1/2 pt. cream, sweetened
    coconut
Preparation
    Make a thin custard with the first 5 ingredients.
    Add almond or vanilla flavoring.
    Dissolve gelatine in water; add to custard while hot.
    Let cool.
    Fold in 1 pint of cream and egg whites.
