Cabbage Onion Salad(Serves 24) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. shredded cabbage
    2 large onions, sliced thin
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. salad oil (Crisco)
Preparation
    Alternate cabbage and onions in a bowl with onions for top layer.
    Combine sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard and pepper in a saucepan.
    Bring to boil.
    Remove from heat and add oil.
