Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into strips or substitute deer tenderloin
    1 c. water
    1 medium onion, cut into strips
    1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Brown meat in 1 cup water.
    Add other ingredients and cook over slow heat until pepper and onion are tender and gravy is thickened.
