Hazel Shafer'S Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fruit (cherries, peaches, apples, rhubarb or other)
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
shortening (the size of an egg)
1 pinch salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. water
Preparation

Mix fruit with sugar (1 cup) and allow to stand while you get dough ready.
Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Put dough in the bottom of pan.
Pour fruit mixture over dough.
Pour water on top of fruit. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or longer until brown on top.
