John'S Hot Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chopped beef (not ground)
    1 large onion
    1 whole head garlic (yes, a lot)
    1 green bell pepper
    1 sweet red pepper
    2 jalapeno peppers
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. good chili powder
    1 tsp. to 1 Tbsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 Tbsp. oregano
Preparation
    Saute the first 6 ingredients in a preheated deep pot.
    The aroma of the garlic will knock your socks off; that garlic, by the way, was left in chunks.
    After the first 6 ingredients are slightly brown, add the remaining ingredients; cover and let simmer for at least 2 hours.
    You'll love it.
