Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. almond
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add
    eggs.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to egg mixture alternating with milk; add almond and vanilla.
    Pour into 3 x 5 x 10-inch loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for one hour.
