Skillet Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 4 ears of corn
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cut kernels from corn, scraping the cob.
    Melt margarine in a heavy skillet and saute corn lightly (about 10 minutes).
    Combine a little of the milk with flour and stir into the corn.
    Add other ingredients and remaining milk; simmer, covered, over low heat for 20 minutes.
    Stir often to keep from scorching.
