Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    5 c. day old bread cubes
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. raisins or chopped dates
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
    Yield:
    10 to 12 servings.
