Ella Davis' Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water
Preparation

Cut Crisco into flour and salt until it resembles coarse corn meal.
Add water and mix altogether.
Roll on floured board until dough stops stretching, then cut into squares.
Drop into boiling chicken broth; cover and cook about 20 minutes.
Dough is done if it goes down under broth after lid is removed and mixture is stirred.
