Ham Hocks And Red Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. red beans
    2 qt. water
    1 lb. ham hock
    1 onion, chopped
    1 red pepper pod
    1 minced garlic clove
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Drain.
    Place beans in large pot. Cover with water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add hocks, onion, red pepper and garlic.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer 2 hours or until tender.
