Herring Salad(Sildesalat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped, salted herring
    4 medium potatoes, cooked and chopped (cold)
    5 slices pickled beets, chopped
    1 dill pickle, chopped
    1 apple, cored and chopped
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. juice from pickled beets
    white pepper to taste
Preparation
    Toss all ingredients together.
    Refrigerate for 3 hours. Mound on a platter.
    Garnish with hard-boiled egg and parsley.
