Kentucky Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice (do not use Minute)
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    2 Tbsp. onion
    1 (10 oz.) can beef consomme or chicken broth
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. chopped peas
Preparation
    Preheat oven at 350\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into a 6 x 10-inch glass baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour or more, until center is set.
    Do not overcook.
    Serves 8. Very moist and flavorful.
