Jean'S Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 eggs
    4 tall cans evaporated milk
    2 c. whipping cream
    6 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    While stirring, add remaining ingredients.
    Cook in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.
    Stir with wooden spoon until mixture coats spoon.
    Be careful not to overcook.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Can be frozen in an ice cream freezer.
