French Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    buttermilk
    flour
    cooking oil
    Vidalia onion (large)
Preparation
    Slice onion and separate into rings. Cover with buttermilk and allow to stand for 1 hour.
    Put flour in a plastic or paper bag. Add onion rings.
    Inflate bag and shake until rings are coated with flour. Fry in hot oil.
    Drain on paper towels.
