Ingredients

8 bacon slices
4 large potatoes, peeled
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1 egg
1/4 c. minced green onions
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
oil or bacon drippings for frying
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp; drain.
Coarsely shred potatoes.
Stir in egg, onions, salt, pepper and flour.
Put mixture in sieve, press with spoon for starch to drain.
Add crumbled bacon.
Form into patties.
Fry patties in hot grease 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.
