Hot Fruit Compote(Excellent For Brunch Or With Ham.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag dried pitted prunes
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
    1 can pineapple chunks, lightly drained
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. dry sherry or bourbon
    1 cinnamon stick
Preparation
    Layer all ingredients in order in a souffle dish.
    Cook 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0, covered. Remove cover and cinnamon stick. Serve warm.
