Fiddlehead Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    3 slices bacon, diced
    1 small can mushrooms, drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 c. bread crumbs
    butter
    1 qt. fiddleheads
Preparation
    Saute together the onion, chopped bacon and mushrooms.
    Boil 1 quart of fiddleheads until tender (about 15 minutes).
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Top with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup bread crumbs.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake until brown in a 350\u00b0 oven.
