Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. cranberries, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple, crushed and drained
    3 c. mini marshmallows
    1 large apple, chopped
    1 c. Cool Whip
    walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix cranberries, sugar and pineapple.
    Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
    Add marshmallows and apple.
    Fold in Cool Whip and walnuts (if desired).
