Marinated Vegetable Snack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 carrots, cut into sticks
    1 c. broccoli buds
    1 c. cauliflowerets
    1 medium cucumber, sliced
    1 medium zucchini, cut into sticks
    1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Advance preparation:
    In saucepan, simmer carrots, covered, in small amount of water for 2 minutes.
    Add broccoli and cauliflower; bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat; simmer 3 minutes more.
    Drain.
    Combine all vegetables.
    Combine cooking oil, vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper; pour over vegetables.
    Cover. Chill at least 8 hours; stir occasionally.
    Makes 4 cups.
