Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 unbaked pie shell (9-inch)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Add milk, sweet potatoes, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
    Mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 to 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool.
    Store in refrigerator. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
