Ellie May'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Have butter and eggs at room temperature.
    Sift together cake flour, salt and soda.
    Beat butter gently until fluffy; add sugar slowly and mix until creamy and light.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add sour cream and flour mixture alternately.
    Blend in flavorings.
    Pour into large tube pan sprayed with Pam (this makes a larger cake).
    Bake at 330\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes (or until tester comes out clean).
    Serves 15 to 20.
