Quiche Vickay - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1/2 c. bacon bits
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium mixing bowl, combine Cheddar and Swiss; sprinkle half of mixture into pie shell.
    Sprinkle in bacon bits, then cover with remaining cheese mixture.
    In small mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, onion powder and black pepper; beat thoroughly.
    Pour over cheese; sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes until firm and toothpick (when inserted) comes out clean.
    Cool 5 minutes, then cut into pie shaped slices.
