Horehound Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. brown sugar
    3 c. hot water
    3 oz. horehound
Preparation
    Add horehound to hot water and cook about 20 minutes; strain. Add sugar and cook until syrup forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
    Pour into greased pan.
    When cool, form into small balls or cut into squares.
