Applesauce Pan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. applesauce
    3 c. flour (scant)
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream together the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and applesauce.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add to the first mixture, alternating with water.
    Stir in nuts and raisins.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
