Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 medium size potatoes
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 1/2 c. herb-seasoned stuffing mix
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in water for 30 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and let cool.
    Peel and cut 1/4-inch strips; set aside.
    Combine 1/4 cup butter and next 5 ingredients in large bowl; gently stir in potatoes and cheese.
    Spoon into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Combine 3 tablespoons butter and stuffing mix; sprinkle over potato mixture.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
