Chili-Cheesy Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1 c. cream style cottage cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 c. cooked regular rice
    3 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, drained, seeded and chopped
    2 c. commercial sour cream
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Saute onion in\tmargarine
    and\tremove\tfrom heat.
    Add remaining ingredients, except
    Cheddar cheese.
    Spoon half the rice mixture into a
    greased 2-quart casserole.
    Top with half the cheese.
    Repeat
    with
    remaining
    rice mixture and cheese. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
