Holiday Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
1 box whole pitted dates
1 cup chopped pecans
1 - 1/2 cups rice krispies
1 teaspoon vanilla
powdered sugar for coating
Preparation

Melt the margarine and the sugar in a saucepan. Chop the dates, add to the pan. Cook over a low heat until all of the ingredients blend and are like preserves. Remove from the heat and add the pecans, rice krispies and vanilla. Form the mixture into balls and roll in the powdered sugar. Delicious and pretty to serve.
