Oysters Rockefeller Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. raw oysters
1 stick butter or margarine
2 ribs celery, chopped fine
1/2 tsp. anise seed
1/2 to 3/4 c. bread crumbs
cayenne pepper to taste
1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. (or more to taste) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Drain oysters.
Melt butter and saute celery.
Add onion, parsley, spinach, anise seed, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Cook about 3 minutes.
Add bread crumbs.
Spray a shallow casserole dish.
Arrange oysters in single layer only. Cover with Rockefeller mixture evenly.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven approximately 20 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle evenly with Parmesan.
Return to oven and broil for a minute or two until brown.
