Skillet Upside-Down Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 can drained, sliced pineapple
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (18 1/2 to 19 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1 jar maraschino cherries
Preparation

Preheat skillet to 250\u00b0.
Melt butter.
Stir in brown sugar until all melted and mixed.
Pineapple juice can be used for some of the water in cake mix.
Pour mix over sugar mixture and spread evenly.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes with lid on.
With a spatula, loosen sides of cake.
Place on wire rack to cool.
Serve plain or with ice cream or Cool Whip.
