Yellow Split Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    4 c. water
    1 c. dry yellow peas
    1 onion, cut up fine
    2 carrots, cut up fine
    1 rib celery, cut up fine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. tamari (soy sauce)
    2 Tbsp. chicken stock concentrate
    1 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. curry
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Bring first 9 ingredients to a boil and simmer 45 minutes. Adjust salt and add cumin, turmeric and curry.
    Simmer 45 minutes.
