Chocolate Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. hot water
    1 2/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix together cocoa and water until smooth, let cool.
    In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Add shortening and cooled cocoa mixture.
    Beat with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes.
    Add 2 eggs, unbeaten, beat for 2 more minutes.
    Fill paper muffin liners 1/2 full and bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
