Aunt Ab'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. lard (Crisco can be substituted)
2 Tbsp. soda
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
scant c. buttermilk (hardly full c.)
plain flour
Preparation

Use enough plain flour to make a good dough.
Mix all the other ingredients in until the dough can be rolled.
Roll out very thin and cut with biscuit cutter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
If you wish, sprinkle sugar on top before baking.
