Madeleine'S Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
4 c. fresh or frozen fruit
Preparation

Place butter in an 8 x 10 x 2 inch baking pan.
Place in warm oven to melt.
In a bowl sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in milk and blend until smooth.
Turn into baking pan over the melted butter.
Spread with the fruit and bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until topping is browned and crisp. Serve with ice cream.
