Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
5 egg yolks
5 tsp. rum (optional)
4 egg whites
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in small saucepan.
Remove from heat.
Stir in cocoa.
Beat yolks in small mixer bowl with 1/2 cup sugar until thick and lemon colored. Beat in chocolate mixture, rum and vanilla.
