Easy Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew meat, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
1 stalk celery, cut on the diagonal
6 carrots, cut in chunks
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. tapioca (for thickening)
1/2 c. tomato juice
Preparation

Place raw meat in a 7 x 11-inch pan.
Add vegetables.
Blend salt, sugar and tapioca.
Sprinkle over meat and vegies.
Add tomato juice.
Cover pan with foil, sealing tight around edges. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 4 hours.
If it gets too thick, add water.
Makes 6 servings.
