Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar, divided
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix flour and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
    With fingers, work in 1/2 cup butter until dough begins to hold together. Press into bottom of greased 9-inch square baking pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until just firm.
