Beef Shepherds Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 large cloves garlic
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. beef broth or water
    1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 c. hot seasoned mashed potatoes
    minced parsley
Preparation
    In large heavy ovenproof skillet, heat the oil.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Saute over medium heat until tender.
    Add beef and cook until browned.
    Drain fat.
    Add salt, pepper, broth, peas and carrots.
    Cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring once to break up vegetables.
    Mix the flour with Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir into the meat mixture.
    Spread the mashed potatoes over the top.
    Make criss-cross markings with fork.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
