Citrus Berry Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope orange gelatin
    juice of 3 oranges (1 c.)
    1/4 c. sugar
    grated peel and juice of 1 lemon
    1 1/2 c. fresh strawberries or boysenberries, mashed (no sugar added) or frozen strawberries or boysenberries, thawed
    1/2 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in orange and lemon juices.
    Add lemon peel and sugar.
    Stir over low heat until gelatin and sugar are dissolved; cool.
    Stir in strawberries and applesauce.
    Pour into a shallow pan and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
    Contains 92 calories per serving with about 3 milligrams sodium.
