Aunt Fanny'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash in water to cover in saucepan until tender; drain and mash.
    Add onion, cracker crumbs, eggs, seasonings and half the butter; mix well.
    Pour into 2-quart baking dish.
    Top with remaining butter and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour. Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
