Saucepan Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate or 1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. or more chocolate chips
Preparation

Rub 9-inch square pan with margarine.
Melt margarine and chocolate in saucepan.
Remove.
Add all ingredients except eggs. Mix to blend.
Add eggs and beat well.
Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cool in pan.
Cut into bars.
Yield: 18 bars.
