Black Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) can dark sweet cherries
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) orange jello
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 (3 oz.) bottle stuffed olives, sliced
Preparation
    Drain cherries (pit and slice).
    Add water to cherry syrup and lemon juice to make 1 3/4 cups liquid.
    Heat but do not boil.
    Pour over jello; stir until dissolved.
    Chill until partly set.
    Add cherries, olives and nuts.
    Serves 8.
